The weather and wind will have a significant impact on the performance of specific players who are not accustomed to the desert climate. The weather can greatly affect the 2009 Dubai Desert Classic odds and should never be ignored by serious gamblers.

Dubai is known for its scorching days when even the sea temperatures hit close to 40o C. The Dubai Desert Classic is luckily held over the coolest time of the year when the weather is not as harsh on the golf tournament, although there is the threat of rainfall from January to March which could severely affect the performance of the players.
