Ernie Els (4/7 to win title on outright coupon) admits he still has work to do despite carrying a one-shot lead into the final day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament.
The South African golfer hit a third round 69 to stand at 10-under-par and leads Ben Curtis (11/4 to win on tournament coupon) by one stroke at Bay Hill with 18 holes of the competition remaining.
Curtis had been battling with Els for the majority of the third day, but two bogeys late in his round meant he dropped behind his rival at the close of play.
Fellow American Chris Couch (20/1 to win title on outright coupon) hit a 69 on his third round to sit two shots behind Curtis, while Kevin Na and Edoardo Molinari are one further behind.
Els is looking for a repeat of his victory at the WGC-CA Championship a few weeks ago and said after his round there is still a lot of work left to secure the title.
He added: I’m still in a very good position. I would have taken it before the tournament started. I would like to keep working and just try and concentrate on playing good golf on Sunday.
